Introduction

My name is Ciara. These blogs have been assigned to me for one of my high school classes. The majority if not all of my blogs will be fiction based. Following this blog there will be seven more posts. My writing tends to have many different ideas as I move from piece to piece, so they will almost never be on the same subject or point of view for what I have already written. After the assignment is over i may or may not keep publishing, depending on how many views i get.
After the seven posts following this anyone with ideas for something they would like me to write are free to message me and i will try to do so. Anyone who comments on my writing will get a comment in return. The same goes for those who follow me. The majority of my new posts will be posted on Thursdays. Some may come before then but I wouldn't count on it to much. This blog is not to reveal anything personal about my life or to write about me in particular. If someone likes my writing and messages me I will reply. However any offensive people will be removed from my page automatically. As far as all of my information goes... what you see is what you get. If it's not shown on my information section it won't be shown at all. (ie. phone number, address, city, ect.)
My style of writing is not something you would normally see in a book or essay that is used for educational purposes. Instead I try to draw on suspense and create many moods throughout my different stories. None of the stories that I write will be episodic. If the story has ended than I am either out of ideas or just don't plan to extend it any further. My pieces can be anything from sad and overwhelming to happy and curious, but almost all will leave you wondering whats going to happen next. My stories aren't exactly short but their not the kind that will stretch for pages on end either. After all who wants to read some boring story that seams like it never ends? Or maybe even a paper that just tells you everything you already know?
I don't believe that writing should be just to show off how smart you are. Instead you should be able to draw an audience in. (Normally at the very beginning of the story.) The story should also keep an ending that's going to make the audience happy because no one wants to read a good book with a crappy ending. Am I right? Due to the fact that I believe in capturing your audiences attention right away, I tend to start with the action and jump back into the background information. The story line is generally easy to follow but it helps to be able to jump back and put the information together. If you think that my writing sounds interesting click follow.

  1. Well I think that your introduction is interesting to say the least. I can't wait to hear more about the following topics that we have to write about. I would like to see which approch you take in writing each of our assignments. I think you should write about something that is confusing to you but a super interesting ordeal aswell. Something that will draw in the attention of everyone weather it be good or bad. Keep up the good work.

  2. Thanks. Any ideas for a topic that would fit that description?

  3. You have a follower already - and now two! I like White Star's idea of writing your way through a confusing topic. Maybe we could help you brainstorm some ideas in class.

I also like your promise to respond to each comment. I think that shows you appreciate your readers and their ideas. It also supports the theory of writing being documentation of an on-going conversation.

Looking forward to discussing further in the future!

  4. Well, I'm glad that you like me responding to all of the comments. I don't see why people would expect commments if they don't comment back.
